JAPANESE STYLE BEEF ROLLS WITH SCALLION,ASPARAGUS AND ENOKI MUSHROOM- NEGIMAKI
This is so easy to make, do not be deceived by the presentation : Thinly sliced beef combined with fresh vegetables , This is just so mouth watering!
1. In a small bowl, mix together some balsamic vinegar and sweetener. Set Aside.
2.Brush both sides of meat with the vinegar mixture. Season with freshly grated ginger, grated apple, salt, pepper, paprika.
3.Top each slice of beef with asparagus, scallion and enoki mushrooms.Roll up tightly and secure with a toothpick.
4. Heat your skillet on med-high. Lightly spray with oil .Arrange rolls with the seam side down and sear both sides. Remove toothpick. Brush rolls with the vinegar mixture, shaking pan until meat is cooked.
5.Cut beef into serving pieces and serve immediately!
(Note: for a non-diet recipe : use mirin +low sodium Japanese soy sauce as mixture)
